Permaculture Environment and Knowledge Solutions [PEAKS] is an organisation that is established to provide solutions across various fields based on the core principles of Permaculture designs – Integrate rather than segregate and Least change for the Greatest impact, and producing no waste.

While every one stresses the points of optimisation or sustainability in many organisations, the key point is the wholesome design driven by the long term goals. Anything that is ad-hoc in a dynamic world is going to create more problems for the system. While the words offer many definitions, the definition for sustainability is key for the current scenario or challenges being faced by the world.

One of the beautiful definitions, by UCLA UCLA Sustainability Committee – “The integration of environmental health, social equity and economic vitality in order to create thriving, healthy, diverse and resilient communities for this generation and generations to come. The practice of sustainability recognizes how these issues are interconnected and requires a systems approach and an acknowledgement of complexity” – is a thought provoking and deep rooted one.
